stabbed in sight in northeast baltimore high school. it happened that heritage high school. police have confirmed that a student was stabbed and a person of interest is being questioned. the victim was treated by the nurse and then transported to hospital. the investigation is ongoing and . >> a hearing today to determine the fate of a baltimore county bar being targeted after two murders reported near the location since july. we sat in on that hearing and we have the latest. >> the board of baltimore county liquor license commissioners deciding that the bar is able to keep its license and not even heading back -- handing down a suspension. >> i really thought we had made

our case. we were concerned for the neighborhood, for the safety of the children, for all the citizens. i am disappointed. >> neighbors react to the baltimore county board of liquor license commissioners decision to find the bark to thousand $2,000 after john's -- after a security guard is stabbed trying to break up a fight. they also argued that the bar is too loud. police testified that security cameras in the board did not work and the suspect in the stabbing was never patted down by security when he reentered the bar after leaving. the owner of the bar said the security did all it could and he was going to look into hiring private security and working with the community. the board found him in violation of the prohibited practices rule

the o'malley administration has come up with its own version of the job stimulus package. it is seeking to raise the state's debt ceiling by $150 million each year for the next five to pay for it. state controller told -- said the administration initially wanted a comttee to rubber- stamp the plan without the benefit of a public hearing. >> this combined to concerns i have about maryland. we have a culture of spending, taxing, and borrowing. that is a problem for the state. in annapolis, we have a culture of secrecy. perhaps the deputy treasury says the governor wants to take advantage of low interest rates. this will help move the party project forward while spurring job growth. maryland's unemployment rate to 7.1%. leading economist calls the

governor's plan risky. >> it does sound like a mini- stimulus package. it is an obligation that has to be paid back and the taxpayer is on the hook. these obligations will be -- >> ongoing problems in europe and stifling construction spending. and so are prolonged higher oil prices. the looming across the board budget cuts, sequestration, could it md. hard. sequestration could reduce md. wages by $2.5 billion. directly cut 12,600 jobs. even if the lame-duck congress comes to terms after the election, md. is exposed. >> its still remains vulnerable to long-term cutbacks. it is one of the reasons the

even with clouds and showers, temperature should be at or above tomorrow -- normal tomorrow. the rainshowers chances are tapering off on wednesday. for thursday, and more sunshine and temperatures may get up and to the 80's. the averageorecast, is 72, so we are running above normal. the southeast wind at 5-10 miles per hour. in western maryland, and showers for the next couple of days. remember nadine? the hurricane season does not end until the end of november. that is tropical storm nadine right now. it came off of africa, attract the atlantic. looked like a classic storm, then curved up into the area where it is very weak.

it is still a tropical storm, 65 mile per hour winds. it may hang on for a couple more days. it has been around for about 20 days now. 70% chance of some tropical light showers tonight and tomorrow. 20% chance pending in the morning on wednesday. a warm finished to the work week. >> this is 11 sports. >> the orioles have four basic playoff scenarios. they could tie for the division and have a one-game playoff with new york on thursday. they could host the wild card game on friday for travel to the wild card game on friday. it will determine which scenario plays out.
